Christina has spent nearly 20 years leading communications departments in nonprofit organizations before starting Palo Verde Strategies in 2025. She has significant expertise – and finds great joy – in working with leaders to understand their organizational priorities and goals, aligning communications strategy, and delivering on a mission.

With experience in education, workforce development, legal advocacy, and STEM – in companies and organizations big and small; local, national, and international – Christina brings a broad set of knowledge to every project. She employs strategic thinking and emotional intelligence to make the most of every opportunity.

A native Washingtonian, Christina began her career as a seventh grade English teacher in the Washington, D.C. area, before transitioning to working in strategic communications. Christina currently lives in Cathedral City, CA, where she serves on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City, where she leads the Resource Development and Communications Committee. Christina has a bachelor’s degree in English from Wittenberg University and is currently pursuing her juris doctor at The Colleges of Law in Ventura, California, where she will graduate in 2026. She’s passionate about strategy, leadership, equity, and a really good meal.
